The team of the Charitable Foundation “Modern Ukraine” held a working meeting with the head of the Volyn Regional Council Hryhoriy Nedopad.

The Foundation’s delegation, which visited the Volyn Council this Thursday, was represented by the Foundation’s President Volodymyr Havrysh, the head of the Foundation’s Central Office Tetyana Shcherbak, a member of the Foundation’s Board Volodymyr Veremchuk, as well as volunteers Andriy Stadnytskyi and Alyona Levoshich.

As the head of the Volyn Regional Council Hryhoriy Nedopad noted during the meeting with the volunteers, the regional council already interacts with many charitable and volunteer organizations, and the search for new partners does not stop.

“We combine opportunities, resources, exchange contacts, information for the sake of greater efficiency in helping both peaceful Ukrainians who suffered from the war, and for the proper provision of the Ukrainian army, local security forces and volunteers. Together we can do more,” Hryhoriy Viktorovych expressed confidence.

At the same time, the President of the “Modern Ukraine” Charitable Foundation, Volodymyr Havrysh, presented the Foundation’s team during the meeting and said that there are now more than 300 activists of the organization working throughout the country, and the Foundation itself concentrates its activities in three main areas – preventive medicine, restoration of territories and volunteer support.

In addition, the head of “Modern Ukraine” separately emphasized the importance in the current conditions of ensuring the psychological rehabilitation of Ukrainians, which is also one of the priorities of the volunteers’ activities. And it is in this direction that the benefactors and the Volyn Regional Council agreed to develop their own cooperation in the future.

“We plan to jointly develop and implement a stress management project aimed at helping the population with emotional burnout, chronic excessive stress in war conditions. I think, at least, it will be qualified online consultations and provision of appropriate drugs,” Volodymyr Havrysh noted.

At the same time, Hryhoriy Nedopad added that the need for rehabilitation and palliative care is also relevant for the region at the moment.

Based on this, the parties have already agreed on the first joint actions related to the establishment of psychological assistance centers, as well as signed a memorandum that will speed up and coordinate the implementation of all planned plans in the near future.
