Internally displaced children in Lviv Oblast received modern tablets for learning
The implementation of such an initiative became possible within the framework of the For Kids UA social project, which is implemented by the «Modern Ukraine» Charitable Fund to support Ukrainian children affected by the war.
The head of the Foundation, Volodymyr Havrysh, personally handed over the first batch of tablets to the children today.
First, he visited the place of compact residence of forced migrants in the Zolochiv district of the Lviv region. There, together with Vasyl Lyashovskyi, a representative of the Regional Representation of the VRU Commissioner for Human Rights, and volunteer Olga Chipak, the benefactors handed over 12 Galaxy Tab A7 Lite tablets to the children.
The President of the Foundation together with the representative of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the Lviv region Taras Podvirny and the coordinator of communication with regional branches of the Foundation Oleksiy Kucherenko handed over 8 more modern gadgets to the children living in the modular town of Sykhiv district.
«Ukrainian children are one of the key targets of Russian terror. The occupiers are trying to kidnap them, leaving them the opportunity to study and develop socially and culturally. Therefore, I hope that the received tablets will become a convenient assistant not only in teaching children, but also in getting to know the exciting world without war», Volodymyr Havrysh noted during his stay in the Lviv region.
He also emphasized that 2 more tablets will be handed over in the coming days to displaced children in Stryi district and Drohobych. In addition, the Fund plans to issue the same modern gadgets to needy migrant children in other regions of Ukraine.
