Tetyana Shcherbak took part in the public discussion: “Ukraine – testimony from the scene of events”
The head of the Central Office of the Charitable Foundation “Modern Ukraine” Tetiana Shcherbak took part in the public discussion: “Ukraine – testimony from the scene of events”, which took place on October 29 in the Serbian city of Novi Sad.
Along with the representative of “Modern Ukraine”, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Serbia Volodymyr Tolkach, Deputy Mayor of Irpin Violeta Dvornikova, Deputy Mayor of Vyshgorod Trofym Ivanov and Head of the League of Social Democrats of Voivodeship Nenad Chanak also joined the discussion.
The discussion was moderated by journalist Borys Varga.
The Ambassador of Ukraine to Serbia, Volodymyr Tolkach, made a speech in which he expressed his gratitude to the Serbian authorities for the hospitable reception of Ukrainian refugees, of whom there are currently about 7,000 on the territory of Serbia.
At the same time, Tetyana Shcherbak emphasized the importance of the processes of restoration of the de-occupied territories of Ukraine and the patronage role of European cities in this process, including the regions of Serbia. She also expressed hope that the consolidated support of Ukraine in Serbia is the key not only to the restoration of the post-war territories of modern Ukraine, but also an opportunity for the development of enterprises and investments from the Republic of Serbia.
