The ambassador of the For Kids UA project helped a boy who survived deportation with medicine
Thanks to the support of the ambassador of the For Kids UA project, Roman Lomaga, it was possible to help a boy returned after deportation from Russia with medicine. In particular, we are talking about one of the pupils of the Oleshki boarding school.
Back in November 2022, the Russians took 52 pupils from the Oleshkiv boarding school in 15 ambulances. Artem was among them. However, thanks to the persistent and heroic struggle of his grandmother, the child was returned to Ukraine.
According to the results of the medical examination, upon his return, the boy was prescribed medical therapy. The family had no money for the latter, so the family communicated with various foundations that could help.
Fortunately, at that moment, my grandmother met a good friend of our Foundation – Olena Vykhor. She told the woman about the social project of the «Modern Ukraine» Charitable Foundation ForKidsUA, where the woman turned for help.
And after a long search for finances, the other day our representative in the Kherson region, Andriy Zaverukha, finally handed over the first batch of the necessary medicines for her grandson to the grandmother.
The purchase of the latter was financed thanks to the ambassador of the ForKidsUA project and one of the representatives of the Lazerhouse volunteer group – Roman Lomaz.
After hearing the story of the boy and his heroic grandmother, he did not hesitate to lend a helping hand. After all, as Mr. Roman noted, today there are no other people’s children and we are all responsible for their peaceful, happy and healthy future.
Thank you to everyone, thanks to whom another child affected by the war received support and felt that she is not alone.
The next batch of medicine for the boy has already been paid for and will also be given to the family within a week. They will be enough for almost a year, which is provided for by the course of the child’s drug therapy.
We hope that this will improve Artem’s well-being. We believe that he will succeed in everything, and his heroic grandmother will be a reliable support for her loving grandson for a long time.
