The fund’s partner helps provide free medical consultations to children from the de-occupied territories
At the end of August, during a meeting between the head of the foundation, Volodymyr Havrysh, and the general director of the Mediland Medical Center, Mykhailo Mishchenko, it was discussed about the organization of free doctor consultation for children from the de-occupied territories on the basis of their clinic.
And so, a little time, schedule corrections, and we’re off to a start. The other day, the foundation and the clinic signed a memorandum of cooperation, and the first children within the framework of the For Kids UA social project, of which the medical center became an ambassador, have already received the expected consultations.
16-year-old Denys Piskun from Kreminnaya needed a neurologist’s consultation, which was gladly provided by the clinic’s pediatric neurologist with 19 years of experience – Olga Igorivna Kholodnytska.
In addition, the boy’s mother was also worried about her daughter’s condition. And since, according to doctors’ assessments, in this situation there was a need for hospitalization in an inpatient urology department, the family received a referral to the National Children’s Specialized Hospital “Okhmatdyt”. And, as it turned out, not for nothing.
Already in the evening, the mother and the girl were hospitalized. We hope that their well-being and health will improve in the near future. In addition, Kateryna Gevko from Donetsk region became another visitor to the “Mediland” Medical Center. She needed a dermatologist’s consultation. Therefore, after the appropriate request of the mother, the head of the Center of Aesthetics and Dermatology and a valid member of the Ukrainian Association of Dermatologists and Cosmetologists UADVC – Anastasia Yevgeniivna Alatorskikh gladly agreed to conduct a free appointment of the patient
We hope that all recommendations made by doctors will be useful to children and their relatives.
We, in turn, thank the “Mediland” medical center for their concern and the opportunity to support children affected by the war. Your professionalism and humanity are a reliable support in our common struggle for life and the country.
It should be noted that the foundation recently handed over the second batch of medicines to a boy from the Kherson region who was returned after deportation.
