Assistance to the inclusive center in Lutsk
People with a big heart, open soul and sincerity in actions. All this can be said with confidence about the team of the public organization “Fox House”, which works in Lutsk. Its members organized an inclusive center attended by more than 200 children with cerebral palsy, autism, mental retardation and other diseases.
In addition, the center’s specialists conduct traditional neuropsychological classes with immigrant children, and have workshops on bioacoustic correction, art therapy, and psychology in their arsenal of work with children. And all this under the guidance of professional and experienced speech therapists, speech therapists-defectologists, psychologists, neuropsychologists and rehabilitation specialists.
Recently, our volunteers, led by a member of the Board of the Foundation, Volodymyr Veremchuk, had the honor of visiting this center together with partners from Norway.
Foreign guests got acquainted with the work of the institution, directly communicated with its visitors and pleased the organization with their own financial assistance in support of such a good cause as helping children.
A particularly emotional moment of the meeting was the joint performance of a number of educational and fun songs together with the children.
“For us, this is not a job, but a state of mind. Therefore, we are sincerely glad that along with the modern problems and challenges facing the country, there are those who continue to support children,” Olga Shvalikovska, head of the inclusive center, shared her impressions of the meeting.
We, in turn, once again thank our friends from Norway, Ron Bon Olsen and Svein-Helge, who warmed more than one Ukrainian with their big and sincere hearts on these cool spring days.
Their arrival once again proves that everything in life is possible when supportive friends are nearby. We are sincerely glad that we have such partners and believe that many more interesting and useful things await us ahead.
