If the security of the country is in the hands of the military, then the hands and experience of Ukrainian doctors are responsible for its health. And as long as such specialists as Yurii Bakunets work in Ukrainian medicine, the health of the nation is under reliable protection.  

Yurii Petrovych is not just a surgeon «from God». He is also one of the few who knows how to pass on his knowledge to young people, working at the Department of General Surgery of the National Medical University named after O. O. Bogomolets.  

But with the beginning of the war, in the breaks between lectures and the operating room, Yury Bakunets also had busy volunteer activities.  It was with his help and consultations that the Foundation imported a number of high-tech medical equipment for the needs of the capital’s hospitals, delivered various medicines needed in the operating theaters on the front lines.  

Yurii Bakunets also became one of the ambassadors of the For Kids UA social project. As part of it, he actively advised our volunteers in terms of their communication with doctors who were involved in helping children who became victims of the war and needed additional examination and rehabilitation.
