For Kids UA: in Transcarpathia, immigrant children received tablets for learning
On Monday, August 7, the team of the «Modern Ukraine» Charitable Foundation was in Transcarpathia, where it handed over another batch of tablets for displaced children as part of the For kids UA social project.
In particular, we are talking about 21 modern gadgets, which were purchased with the funds collected from the charity sale of a postage stamp with the image of a mural by the French artist Julien Malland.
The President of the Foundation, Volodymyr Gavrysh, together with the Representative of the VRU Commissioner for Human Rights in the Transcarpathian Region, Andriy Kryuchkov, and the Foundation’s volunteers, Vasyl Bulyna and Oleksandr Makhlynets, handed the tablets directly to the children.
As the head of «Modern Ukraine» explained, during monitoring visits to places of compact residence of displaced persons, representatives of the Office of the Ombudsman repeatedly recorded families that lacked gadgets for proper online education of school-aged children. In view of this, the Office asked to help the little one.
«Such moments are unforgettable. After all, every child’s look, captivating smile and sparkle in the eyes is the energy of life. Thank you to Julien Malland and the team of the Ombudsman’s Office for this yet another important joint result», said Volodymyr Havrysh during a conversation with the children’s parents.
He also wished the children a peaceful school year and new unforgettable experiences from school life.
