More than half a million hryvnias were raised as a result of a charity evening-exhibition in Prague, which was held on the initiative of the non-governmental organization “People in the Frame” and the Charitable Foundation “Modern Ukraine”.
The event took place on May 14 at the Lucerne Palace.
All participants had the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful works of art of Alexander Onishchenko, Sara Doroshuk and other famous artists.
In addition, the creative program of the evening was complemented by a dance group of displaced children led by Inna Bodrylova, as well as performances by popular Ukrainian stars: Natalka Karpa, Svitlana Tarabarova, Hryhoriy Reshetnyk.
For most visitors to the event, including more than 150 famous and influential people from the Czech Republic, the event was a symbol of support for the heroic struggle of the Ukrainian people “for a peaceful sky in their country and Europe”.
The Foundation’s delegation was represented at the evening by the Foundation’s President Volodymyr Havrysh and the Foundation’s Vice President Volodymyr Veremchuk.
They expressed their gratitude to all volunteers and activists involved in the organization of this action, and noted the importance and extraordinary value of the support of the Ukrainian people by the entire European community.
It will be recalled that all funds raised will be used to meet the needs of the Ukrainian population affected by the war and to provide a humanitarian front.
