United For Peace
The Contemporary Ukraine Charitable Foundation initiated the UNITED FOR PEACE tour, which aims to hold creative charity evenings with the participation of Ukrainian artists and cultural figures in leading European cities.
The first stage of the tour has already taken place from 4 to 15 April 2022, during which evenings of support for Ukraine were held in France, Italy and Spain. They were attended by representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora, diplomats, businessmen, and foreign partners in solidarity with Ukraine and concerned citizens. Honorary participants of the tour were the People’s Artist of Ukraine and Chairman of the Honorary Council of the Foundation Natalia Buchynska, the famous Ukrainian monumental artist Roman Minin, and the founder of Abramovych Art Agency – Igor Abramovich.
The tour’s primary goal is to collect volunteer aid in support of the Ukrainian people and its army, expand channels of humanitarian cooperation with EU countries, and inform the European community about the actual situation in Ukraine and the crimes committed against civilians by the Russians army.
In addition to charity evenings, the Foundation’s team also met with representatives of local municipalities, EU civil society institutions, European politicians and organized various exhibitions and workshops with leading Ukrainian artists and the partner team Abramovych Art Agency.
An essential result of the first stage of the “United for Peace” tour was an agreement with partners to deliver to Ukraine several dozen trucks with humanitarian aid, the first of which has already arrived from Italy, France, and Spain.
To implement the following stages of the tour in support of Ukraine by European countries, the Foundation has already signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Charitable Foundation “Support for Cultural Figures”. It synchronizes its intentions with representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora and domestic diplomats.
