Volunteers from Norway visited Ukraine with a humanitarian mission

News

As planned and promised, we are meeting guests from friendly Norway in Ukraine. Yesterday, good friends of the Foundation – Norwegian volunteers Ron Bon Olsen and Svein-Helge – arrived in our country on a humanitarian mission.

The boys came to Ukraine with an important purpose. They brought a Toyota Hiace car with a trailer, which will be handed over for the needs of the 100th separate territorial defense brigade of the Volyn region.

The boys also have a drone in their humanitarian arsenal. He will go for the Ukrainian border guards, who are currently performing extremely difficult tasks in the Bakhmut region.

Separately, the volunteers brought to Ukraine a number of necessary medicines, hygiene products, and personal protective equipment and discussed the need for their further supply with Volodymyr Veremchuk, a member of the Board of the Modern Ukraine Charitable Foundation, and Olga Cheren, the head of the Kovel District Military Administration.

The latter thanked the Norwegian volunteers for their solidarity support of Ukraine and noted the work of the foundation directly in Kovel. One of the main logistics warehouses of “Modern Ukraine” in the Western region is located here.

It should be noted that the guests from Norway will stay in Ukraine for several days and during their visit they will also talk with the military, representatives of other volunteer organizations and visit one of the children’s homes in Volyn.

Along with Volodymyr Veremchuk, the volunteer delegation from Norway in Ukraine is accompanied by a volunteer and representative of the Foundation in Lutsk – Roman Horbach.

We sincerely thank our Norwegian partners for their support of Ukraine and joint cooperation for the benefit of peace.

A joint result, like a struggle, motivates to do more.
