Volunteers of the Foundation from Dnipro also visited Kherson Oblast with a humanitarian mission

News

The other day, Oleg Prykhodko, a volunteer of the «Modern Ukraine» Charitable Foundation in Dnipro, together with his colleagues and volunteers, visited the Kherson Region, which was affected by the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP, where they brought the most necessary items.

Namely: food, hygiene products, water. According to the volunteers, it was not even possible to bring some of them to Kherson, because they were forced to distribute them to people in need in the villages.

Thanks to the caring and sympathetic people of Dnipro, it was possible to collect all this humanitarian cargo literally in a matter of days, says Oleg Prykhodko.

He also shared his general impressions of the trip.

«Usually, when I used to come back from the charming Ukrainian South, I was full of bright emotions and positive energy. The only memory after the last trip to the Kherson region is pain. After all, when you see the scale of the disaster and destruction, which are already becoming irreversible, you understand how difficult challenges await us there», the volunteer notes.

Despite this, he and the entire volunteer family from Dnipro are confident that we will be able to overcome them.

«We are persevering because we have no other choice if we want a bright and successful future for us and our children. And it will be like that», concluded Oleg Prykhodko emotionally.

It should be noted that before this, representatives of the Fund from Kropyvnytskyi, Mykolaiv and Volyn also visited the Kherson region with humanitarian missions.
