Thanks to the support of American partners, volunteers of the Modern Ukraine Charity Foundation were able to purchase protective ammunition for the fighters of the Territorial Defense of Kyiv.

In particular, 105 helmets and body armor, 250 NIJ III ballistic plates, and 150 plate socks were purchased. Funds for their purchase were allocated by the Ukrainian American Freedom Foundation Inc.

The total amount of the deal was more than UAH 1.5 million, and all the necessary equipment was purchased from a certified national enterprise to produce personal protective equipment – “Ukrainian Armor.”

“We are sincerely grateful to our American partners who, not only in word but also in deed, have reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to defending the ideals of freedom and democracy around the world, and in Ukraine in particular,” said Volodymyr Havrysh, the Foundation’s President.

As for the protective ammunition itself, according to him, it is already being shipped from the company’s warehouses and will soon arrive in the soldier’s units, which philanthropists will monitor until the last set issued under the contract.
