The devastating consequences of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine are impossible to ignore, especially when we consider the staggering number of innocent victims: 7.5 million children.

The brutal reality of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is reflected in the heartbreaking statistics: 461 innocent children lost their lives, and another 920 were injured. 

To make matters worse, 16,300 children were forcibly taken out of Ukraine, with only 307 being successfully reunited with their families. These children have endured unspeakable horrors, including torture, shelling, and intimidation, and are in urgent need of psychological support and rehabilitation. 

Their trauma serves as a stark reminder of the human cost of war and highlights the urgent need for the international community to step up and provide aid and support to those affected by this senseless conflict.

In response to the urgent needs of Ukraine’s deported children, the “Modern Ukraine” Charitable Foundation has launched the “FOR KIDS UA ❤️🙏” project. The main objective of this initiative is to raise awareness among the global community about the plight of Ukrainian children who have been forcibly displaced by the Russian invasion, and to gather essential aid for their humanitarian support.
